Donate Directly to Alternatives
By using these buttons, you can choose an amount you would like to donate to Alternatives and then you will be directed to Pay Pal where you can securely give your credit card information and they will process your donation. You don’t even need a Pay Pal account to donate online.
Our policy is to apply all gifts received via our website to the general support of Alternatives mission. If you wish to designate your gift to a specific project please mail your gift to 2628 El Camino Ave. Suite B-1, Sacramento, CA 95821. Gifts to the organization are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal and California income tax purposes.
Many individuals, businesses, and churches support Alternatives. Any contribution, made either monthly or annually, will help us continue the good work of this pregnancy center.

Vehicle donation: Tax deductible. Donate your car, truck, van, motor home, or boat to Alternatives and receive a tax donation. The vehicle doesn’t even need to be in operational condition! Donate Gifts In Kind: Donations of new and gently used baby clothes, baby items, furniture, diapers, and maternity clothes are gratefully accepted. Because of recalls and liability concerns we cannot accept car seats or baby bath tubs. For donation times and current needs please call: 916-972-0367
In Memory of or Honor of: Leaving a legacy gift in honor of someone special is a wonderful way to memorialize a loved one. Alternatives will send a special recognition card to your honoree or their family. Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas, along with a loved one’s birthday or anniversary are special dates through the year in which someone you love can be honored. Please send your memorials to Alternatives.
Gifts of Securities: Take advantage of tax saving and make a contribution of stocks or annuities to Alternatives. Federal tax law allows a charitable deduction free of capital gains tax for the fair market value of the gift of securities. If you are interested in making a donation of stock, please contact Alternatives and our broker will assist you in finalizing the details.
Matching Gifts: If your company has a matching gifts policy, they may match all donations you and your family make to Alternatives. Some companies even double the employee’s gift. If there is paperwork to fill out alternatives will be happy to complete this for you.
Quality of Life Card: Raley’s and Bel Air and Nob Hill Foods include Alternatives as a recipient of their Quality of Life Card program. Simply show this card at check out and the grocery store will send a percentage of your purchase to Alternatives. Don’t have a card yet? Pledging through United Way: With United Way, you have another great opportunity to contribute. Alternatives is not a United Way member, but it is easy to designate Alternatives as the recipient of your automatic payroll contribution or your one-time donation.
Remember the Unborn in your Will: The pro-life call to action will continue to be heard for years to come. Long after Roe vs. Wade is overturned, the women and men who struggle with abortion and the aftermath of that choice will still need the ministry of Alternatives. Please consider a gift to protect and restore life by designating Alternatives as recipient in your will.
