Volunteer Opportunities
Alternatives PRC is volunteer driven, from our Board of Directors, Client Advocates, Office Aids and Nursery Nook Coordinators, individuals are giving their time and talents to serve the needs of our community. If you have a desire to volunteer, APRC can use your help. 

Center Volunteers: 

• CLIENT ADVOCATE -- Ministers to women unprepared for pregnancy. *
• CENTER RECEPTIONIST -- Answer the telephone and greet clients.*
• OFFICE/CLERICAL -- Help with routine tasks as well as special projects.
• NURSERY NOOK-- Process donated baby clothes, maternity clothes, and baby furniture. Positions are available in-center and at home.
• PARENTING CLASS INSTRUCTOR -- Co-lead parenting classes.
• LABOR AND DELIVERY WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR- Co-lead L&D workshops.
• LACTATION SUPPORT – Assist nursing moms.
• CLEANING -- Assist in cleaning the center.
• CARPENTRY/MAINTENANCE -- As needed, help with minor building maintenance.

Special Events and Community Outreach Volunteers:

• EVENTS/FUNDRAISING -- Help with fundraising events such as Walk for Life, Baby Bottle Campaign and the Fall Banquet gala.
• SPEAKERS BUREAU -- Represent APRC at local churches and organizations. *

Prayer 

We must continually have God’s direction and vision for this work.  Help us pray regularly for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and their unborn babies, the volunteers, staff and board members at APRC,  the much needed financial resources to operate the Center, and for the constant presence of the Holy Spirit in our work.
